Next Generation Shopping

ProgrammableWeb.com recently added some truly awesome graphs and charts to their site. Users can now visually track mashups trends. I predict the database to hit over 1,000 mashups by the end of Summer 2006.

Mapping mashups still own the show with 50% of the mashup market share.

Shopping places 4^th with a 7% share of the mashups included in the ProgrammableWeb database. I hope to see the Shopping mashup space continue to grow with continued innovation from Amazon, eBay/Shopping.com, and recently Yahoo! Shopping.
